Fall 2008

Well since i've been a horrible blogger, I'm catching up in one big slide show. The fall went way too fast, but we had a lot of fun! So attached are a few pictures of just some of the fun we had. I have to say, I love Michigan in the fall!

Apples, apples!

When we moved into our house, we knew there was apple trees, but didn't really think about it much until this fall. We have enough apples to share with everyone! My grandma, mom, sister and niece came over to help make applesauce. So much fun! Then Scott, Janice and the boys came over to help pick apples too.

Charlie definitely enjoyed eating them too!

Ross's came to visit

Daryl and Alicia, along with Rayne and Emmry came to visit for the weekend back in September. We had an awesome time and perfect weather. We headed out to Holland to take some family pictures for them. They turned out really well, here's a couple to enjoy.

As part of a family Christmas gifts to each other, we did a family getaway to the Upper Pennisula back in September. (I know, i've horrible. Soon you'll see some of the pictures of what kept us so busy) It was fun by all, staying at Janice's parent's cabin and going to see the falls.

Mackinac Island

We've been quite the travelers lately, since last weekend we went up to Mackinac Island for a night. (Met up with my (Stacy's) family after for the rest of the weekend- that will be another post) Weather wasn't the nicest, but we didn't let it slow us down. Head dinner at an amazing restaurant The Woods. Highly recommend it! It was nice to slow down and spend some quality time just the two of us;-)

Camping in Ludington

Labor Day weekend we headed up to Buttersville campground to spend some time with Larry's family. The weather was absolutely perfect! Although the boys didn't catch any fish, we still had an awesome weekend.

Stuck Cottage Weekend 2008

The annual Stuck Cottage weekend was awesome at usual! Taetsch's and Mathew's were extremely missed. Thanks again to the Stucks for letting us take over the cottage for a fun filled weekend!

Happy Birthday Larry!!

Saturday was Larry's birthday! To celebrate we went to dinner in Holland and then out to the beach for the sunset. Great times and many more birthdays to come! Me and my old man! (that's what i've been calling him lately ;-) )

Rosy Mound

Last Sunday we headed to Rosy Mound with Heidi & Ron, although it ended up being way too cold to swim in Lake Michigan, we still had fun hanging out.

Coast Guard Festival

Beginning of August was Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven. We spent the day hanging out with the Taestch's on their boat and enjoying the awesome weather. If anyone of you haven't been to Coast Guard - it's a great time. Boats were everywhere! Just a few of many pics we took. . .

Cottage on Green Lake

My parents rented a cottage on Green Lake for a week so Larry and I spent a couple days relaxing by the lake. Timber loved swimming!

Sunset Cruise

Craig and Michelle invited us out on the boat for a sunset cruise a couple weeks ago. Talk about a perfect night! The sunset was amazing and the company of friends was awesome as always. Thanks again guys!
